Always wanted to make a difference but didn't know where to start?

The Survivors' Collective is all about getting involved!!!

You can choose to just do a little behind the scenes. Or fully dive into kick-ass public action.

Or anything in between really. Every contribution is important and absolutely valued.

Here are some ways to get involved right now:

Come along to our next meeting: Saturday 27/04/19 1pm-4pm

At the Survivors' Collective we meet once a month for an open forum, to get connected, share our experiences, and join forces in activism & creative projects. If you want to meet other survivors and get involved in activism, our open forum is a great place to start. The Forum is open to all survivors of childhood sexual abuse.

This time we will draft a list of questions on survivor issues for the upcoming general election.

We started #WhyWeSpeakOut in reaction to the silencing and victim blaming survivors experience in the media. When reading and hearing the frequent suggestions that we should "keep our experience private", "stop seeking attention", we felt the need to make a statement - for us, for other survivors, and for everyone in the world.

Join in and share your reasons to speak out about sexual abuse.

If you wanna stay anonymous, feel free to send us your messages and we'll tweet them :)

Share your #Everydaytriggers

#everydaytriggers is the hashtag home to share everyday things that, as survivors, we find triggering. By doing this we have the opportunity to have a virtual conversation, or simply to know that we have recorded them. Sometimes just these small acts can help with the impact of triggering events or situations.

Take part in our Survey

At Survivors Together we are developing information packages for the public and professionals about how to better support survivors of sexual abuse in school and education. We believe that direct feedback from survivors themselves is the best way to learn what is really needed and what changes need to be made. We value every experience that you would like to share as well as any advice and suggestions.
